DAUGHTER OF TREES
Daughter of Trees is the fiber arts project of Amanda Derocher. Using the magic of ecoprinting, she harnesses the beauty of real leaves and flowers to create one-of-a-kind textiles that celebrate the raw elegance of the natural world. Each piece is a fusion of art and sustainability, where botanical imprints bloom on silk, wool, and other natural fibers, making every garment a living, breathing story of the earth. With an alchemist’s touch, Amanda coaxes rich, organic hues and intricate details from plants, ensuring no two pieces are ever alike, creating heirloom one of a kind wearable art pieces on silks and other natural fibers. Amanda grows a wide variety of dye plants, flowers and leaves used in the printing process to create her works, making them reflections of her local terroir.
